Trying to control a high blood pressure with medication since 2015. October last year I began to tackle my health issues with nutrition and dieting. I'm still trying to lose at least 24 lbs to get to a healthy weight. I've just started another cycle of strict keto dieting. This means less than 20 grams of carbohydrates a day. I monitor my blood pressure with a home monitor and an app on my android phone.
It seemed like too long but it finally hooked downward. This is an average line curve so this isn't just luck.
My carbohydrate intake several days before and just 2 days ago I started to implement strict keto (less than 20 grams Carbs) and my average blood pressure goes blue.
I stopped my medications last October. I am not medicating now. I drink garlic ginger tea everyday. But from my perspective it's the carbs restriction that has the biggest impact.
