Pairing Awei Bluetooth Earphone With My Device

I bought my Awei bluetooth earphones online for 750 including a 99 charge for delivery. I was told i can use it on my ASUS Zenfone and my Bluewave tablet so it's a good deal for me. I wish the two hour battery can be stretched to three or even four hours. Cross my fingers. awei-bluetooth-earphones To pair it with the device: long-press the power button until the LED light alternate to blue and red. When it does, the earphone is ready to pair. Open your smartphone to its bluetooth settings and it should list Awei bluetooth device. Tap it. The two devices should be as close as possible. Your smartphone should indicate if the pairing is successful. When it does, open your media player or music player and start playing some music.

Sunday Meal In Front of the Computer

IT is 30 degrees at around 11 am today but the sun is momentarily out. I'm happily reviewing and checking some papers. It is never finished. I'm drinking tea and this is my second cup since the morning rice and egg breakfast. My blood pressure is at a more manageable 125 over 70. I kept waking up short of breath and sweaty on two occasions. After some thoughts and guessing, I think I am having an asthma attack while sleeping. It could be that I'm allergic to the laundry detergent of my new pillow covers. I replaced them on both occasions I experienced the attack. I've had asthma attacks since I was a child.

Update Chromium From 61 -->> 62

Browser updates are very important to web security. Don't miss it. If there's a piece of software that you really have to get right, it's the browser and I have three in my machine. I post updates like this in my personal blog to keep track of the fast developments. I can't be everywhere but I do want to get the information where I am.

The Disappearing Noscript Icon

After the latest update in Noscript, a Mozilla firefox extension, the icon image in the toolbar cannot be found. I've used Noscript for years now and I don't encounter websites that needs tinkering with Noscript anymore. Nevertheless, I am curious what happened. So I headed to the website and the forums for Noscript. I found this forum site. Basically, I ran firefox with all extensions disabled. Then restart normal mode. Fixed. But what happened?

Star Wars: The Last Jedi Poster

The Last Jedi is coming this December 2017. I can't wait. My guess is we can watch it later in the Christmas season or even later than the New Year 2018. The Filipino Film Festival season usually starts the 15th December up to January 7th. Only Filipino films are shown in theaters. Unless there's a special run, we would see it much later.

Adding A New Disk To A RAID Array part 2

I have added the new disk and the RAID array is finished syncing, now what? You can check the result of the RAID sync with: $sudo mdadm --detail /dev/md127 ##Note the array size. OR In my case, I'm using logical volume management LVM. $sudo pvdisplay ##Note the PV size The PV size is what you can work with. In my case I want to allocate the free space to two logical volumes. I want to add 300GB to my Music lv and the rest to my Videos lv. $sudo lvextend -L +300G /dev/ubuntu-vg/Music-lv ##This will add 300 GB to my Music-lv. $sudo lvextend -l +100%FREE /dev/ubuntu-vg/Videos-lv ##This will add the rest of the free space left to my Videos-lv. We still need to extend the filesystem to the added space. I have ext4 filesystem. $sudo resize2fs /dev/ubuntu-vg/Music-lv ##This extends the filesystem to the added space. $sudo resize2fs /dev/ubuntu-vg/Videos-lv ##This extends the filesystem to the added space. Check the results. $df -h [ donato@archdesktop ~]$ df -ht ext4 Filesystem

GNOME Settings On GNOME 3.26

This is how GNOME Settings look in 3.26 now.

Evolution Mail on GNOME 3.26

There's a slight change in the user interface. A To Do column now appears to the rightmost after the GNOME 3.26 update. Also there's a noticeable stability increase, what with goa-daemon stopping its RAM usage creep. I don't have to kill it every couple of hours.

Adding A New Disk To A Raid part 1

I have a RAID 5 array for all my data files. Recently I bought a new 3TB Hitachi hard drive and that was December 2016. I've been delaying using it until now. I've got some idle time today and tomorrow so it's perfect for hours and hours of syncing. I've got new SATA data cables (the red ones) and the old power cables are still excellent. Used a philip screwdriver to fix the internal disks and tray. Turned on the computer. America Must Evolve Fast Or Die

This was a music festival concert venue in Las Vegas, Nevada. A shooter in the 32nd floor of a nearby hotel across the general area opened fire then shot himself. He killed 59 people in what reports call the biggest mass shooting in modern American history to date. America must learn from the lessons of previous mass shootings otherwise this tragedy will happen again. Reasonable animals evolve when their lives and the life of the pack or group are threatened. They change how they face the problem and not just move on. They don't dismiss reality. They recognize the problem and listen to reason. For those who say nothing can be done, you're wrong. There is something America can do. It is not premature to talk about gun control. This is the time to talk about it.

Provocative Politics

Rodrigo Duterte's moves and speeches were designed to provoke opposition. Note the lack of protocol and utter gutter language. He wants to elicit a miscalculated response from those who oppose him in the last election and from the Catholic Church. His politics is built on harassing government officials sitting on the fence so to speak. He puts pressure on them to commit one way or the other. He was able to imprison Senator Leila Delima using very thin proof from convicted drug offenders. He wants an unwarranted, unbalanced response from his political foes. So far no one has taken the bait. Nevertheless he thrives on starting a fight in the school grounds among the kids. He's a bully and knows all the dirty tricks. Rodrigo Duterte's allies in Congress namely, Koko Pimentel in the Senate and Speaker of the House Pantaleon Alvarez, have formed a majority block for the ruling parties. This means they control the House and the Senate, they have the chairmanships of the committ

Indonesian Mass Killings 1965 And Rodrigo Duterte's Drug War

Filipinos should learn and read more about the events surrounding the mass killings of communists and their sympathizers in 1965 Indonesia. Most estimates of the number who died at the hands of vigilantes and later from the army units used, state that 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 indonesians and ethnic chinese were killed. The exact number is not known because nobody investigated the crimes, the police never kept records. Some of the executions were public. Some were done with explicit agreement with authorities. Even the United States provided a list of communists to the authorities. Membership to the Communist Party of Indonesia was not secret. When the army came to get them, the communist voluntarily surrendered. Indonesians succumbed en masse to fake news that the communists are going to destroy their country. The hatred of communists were fanned by the indonesian army propaganda using the event of September 30. The September 30 assassination of Sukarno's top generals by militants pr

facebook Thread And Noli Me Tangere

Rhoel Vela is a classmate in high school. As I review our exchange here in this thread I kept remembering that scene in Noli Me Tangere between Pilosopo Tasio and Ibarra. Jose Rizal wrote that novel during the sunset of the Spanish regime in the Philippines. And here it is still describing our situation in 2017.

Spyro Gyra - Morning Dance

Dante Caoile showed the long playing album 33 1/3 speed vinyl of Spyro Gyra. spyro-gyra-morning-dance I downloaded this image from his facebook post. I don't have this album in my files. I tried looking for it in the streaming services and also in the torrent sites. From the social media, I learned about my friend's music obsession. I am curious if i can download it fast enough to play it before everybody loose interest. Morning Dance reached 27 in the Billboard top 200 albums released in 1979.

Rodrigo Duterte by credible reporting has killed his 13,000 drug addicts and other drug related criminals. Children and by-standers were killed in various operations since he was elected president.  The Republican party is still trying to kill Obamacare or the US healthcare law passed by Obama in his first term. The military has reduced the fighting into a one hectare city property which continues to take soldiers' lives. The military has been surprised by the locally born and ISIS inspired Mautes. This month's expenses breached the 32,
