Yellow flowers bunched on tips of stalks just off my window.

Medical Check up for Mother

I have accompanied Mom to her long delayed general checkup at Veteran Memorial Medical Center VMMC. We accomplished a lot Monday. We got to see her doctor. We replenished her medications. We were scheduled for blood chem, ECG and X rays. We also visited Ophthalmology in VMMC's case "the Eye Center". We were recommended back to OPD-ophthalmology for a general work up. Which we did the very next day. We have to return on the 12th of March for laboratory tests. We have to Mom's ECG outside the VMMC. The X ray should be ready next week. This is also needed for both the general checkup and clearance for the ophthalmology laser surgery on Mom's right eye. I want to have my ECG with Mom. I have not been checked out for my ECG in my life. It is about time to have one. I also want to have my eyes checked out for new glasses.

Upgraded Mozilla Firefox 72-->>73

I wasn't happy when the latest upgraded in Mozilla Firefox broke support in Netflix. But a few days later, a firefox update restored Netflix. I am happy that I am able to watch Netflix again. Hopefully, upgrades in firefox don't break Netflix in the future. Mozilla firefox upgrades every month, I don't want to lose Netflix every month to be restored back a few days later by another update to the main upgrade.

Imelda, Death In the Family

It's the big elephant in the room right now. Imelda the youngest among four siblings died February 1 2020. We spent six days in the hospital Intensive Care Unit. "We" because I was the only family member who can stay with her. Imelda was 47 years old and diabetic. She self medicated an infected foot, again. She's strong headed when it comes to taking charge of herself. So when I called for the ambulance to get her to the Veterans Memorial Medical Center VMMC emergency ward, she was already suffering the effects of sepsis and anemia. The doctors tried to help her with antibiotics and blood transfusion. The fifth day they asked my permission for intubation and dialysis. Before midnight, she was under DNR and the doctors knew she had minutes to live. She died 1:18 am.

Upgraded Linux kernel 5.4-->>5.4 version

January Report On Workouts and Physical Activity

From the Huawei Health app It is a general retreat in the number and duration of running workouts. Due to Imee's illness and death I am postponing any other activity until after her burial. See you on the road and tracks.
