I have been using Evolution Mail uninterrupted for three years in Arch.
I posted that upon installing Ubuntu 20.04 LTS I learned that
Thunderbird is the default email app. Now I'm trying to get Evolution
back in my daily tools. Installing it in Ubuntu 20.04 is no problem. I
tend to use the terminal and issue the "apt" command to install
packages. It is now sitting in my desktop and downloading my emails. I
need to get my openPGP keys too.
The backends are alread there. The calendars, and the todos are already
working and being used in the desktop reminders. Okay so no fuss.
Contacts are working automatically.
I am composing the first message and it is in plain text. But let me
try this first. I don't want to change defaults unless it is
necessary.
I'm inserting an image to test embedding images inline. Okay the
default seems "to attach" it. But I'll go with it and then eyeball the
result in the blog itself. I have no problem doing it the Evolution way
this time.
Sending this to my blog.
