Upgraded Firefox 66-->>67

Mozilla released its newest version of Firefox browser 67.

New GPG Keys

My old gpg keys are now expired. I've generated a new set of keys which I have published at pool.sks-keyservers.net (just click the link, and the newest is at the top). Now even if there's an existing flaw with the encryption I still use it for signing. It isn't perfect. Your email addresses and subject lines aren't encrypted. Just use a generic subject line for pete's sake. Here's my Fingerprint: 7718 2826 E40F 5673 DE0E D37A 70B2 A835 AA82 91B0 Key ID is AA8291B0. -- Donato Roque@desktop I'm on  twitter  and  facebook . Upgrade Linux kernel 5.0 -->> 5.1

The linux kernel I'm using was upgraded from 4.20 to 5.0, then 5.0 to 5.1 in a span of 3 months this year. I am not talking about the point releases made by the distro I use. I am talking about the linux kernel developers' release tempo itself as it reaches me the end user.

My Plan To Date

I have been dieting, trying to lose weight, trying to keep healthy at the same time. What have I learned so far? What are the most important things I still need to do and continue to do? Keep my carbohydrate intake low. Carbs are not bad. But I have been eating a lot of it and getting it from unhealthy sources. I have to get my carbs from vegetables. This is the struggle with keto. Keeping carbs at the minimum but at the same time eating vegetables which are made of carbs. Eating at least 2-3 cups of my favorite vegetables daily adds up to at least 16 to 18 grams of carbohydrates. And I need to eat more vegetables to get to the minimum 5 cups daily. Right. Intermittent Fasting is my friend. If you told me to fast 18 hours a day a few months ago, I would have given you a skeptical look. I have done 12 hours, 16 hours and now 18 hours intermittent fasting, IF, maybe twice a week. I'm sticking with 18 hours since I feel more comfortable with it. My last meal would be lunch, then I don...

A Weight Loss Plateau and Self-assessment

I've been messing with my dieting for the past 3 days. I am eating more grams of carbohydrates in the form of milk, bread and crackers or a combination of all three. I am eating carbohydrates above the 50 grams allocated for each day. I am doing it to see if my body will react negatively with any of my health markers. I have mentioned the blood pressure spike yesterday. But the number subsequent stayed flat the next day. I guess just like everything else my body follows the laws of physics. It tries to maintain its direction and rate of motion. For a while, that is. I don't want to have to find out how long that is. My weight loss seemed to be stuck around 76-77 kilograms. It looks like a plateau. I am eating at 1100-1200 calories this week. Could my metabolism slowed down considerably to outpace my weight loss plan. I am considering a reset of my plans. If I do reset I want to reset UP. Around 1500-1600 calories. Continue with a ketogenic diet. A ketogenic diet means the lowes...

Blood Pressure Response To Increased Carbohydrate Intake

2 days of carbohydrate intake above 50 grams and my blood pressure spikes back to 130+ systolic. That's my sensitivity to carbohydrates. I kept my total calories within budget.
