I've discovered this android feature in the File Manager called PC File Transfer.  I Have Been looking for such a tool for a very long time. I have  pictures and images which I want to share and use in my blogs. I blog with my email. It is tough to seamlessly post with media from my phone to my PC. I love to compose blogs in the desktop because all my image apps are there. Easier to manipulate text and images in the PC where all my applications are.  I have to open a tab in my browser. Type in  http://192.168.100.239:55432/   and start to broadcast it in a secure wi-fi.  I can always do it this way at home. 

It made people a little apprehensive when electricity was turned off early morning on election day. But I have solar power lanterns ready for such an emergency.  This one needed a fix with a glue. The top cover came off easily.  I bought 3 more as they proved resilient and useful during blackouts. 

I had to really put this image front and center of this post. I have been waiting to get GIMP 3.x for a long time now. Finally getting the opportunity to use it for everyday use.  I upgraded from 24.10 to 25.04 hoping to get this update. Not sure I will get my wish. Happy to get it. :))

The upgrade tool in Ubuntu 24.10 is finally working. I received a notification that a new version of Ubuntu is ready to be installed. I got flag from my current system that Ubuntu 25.04 is ready to be downloaded and installed. After a short 15 minutes I got this notification of the newly installed version of Ubuntu.
