Happy Mother's Day to mothers. I feel blessed that I am living with mine. Emphasis on the word "living". My mother never saw her father. He never came back alive after the war. My grandmother was pregnant with my mother when the war broke out. My mother feels happy how her children turned out. A box of goods from Lino who is living in Canada arrived last night. The delivery service always do this at night to avoid the traffic. Lino's boxes always arrive at night. Mom and I stayed awake a while longer to sort out what we have.
I opened the cardboard box and Mother would start remembering stories. So I start to list the items verbally and Mom will have a short story for me. Never mind if the item and the story isn't connected. I enjoy opening boxes. I was smiling all throughout until the box is empty.
