I am being squeezed by the downed wifi. I didn't pay on the 28th May when it was due. I paid on the 5th June. PLDT cut the service on the 6th June. It is now the 13th of June and they are dragging this issue. We are in the middle of a general quarantine when the normal payment channels are closed. I have been a subscriber of Smartbro until PLDT took over. I am not happy with this kind of service.
Then there's the issue of upgrading existing subscribers. I have been sending my application since 3 years ago to get the Homefibr plans. Then this is what they do. I was happy with Smart though. Their stated reason for the delay is that the fibr is not yet available for my location. This simply means that it is a loosing proposition for PLDT to invest in fiber optic cables from their nexus or whatever to my computer modem.
