The last Windows operating system I used is XP and although it isn't buggy or unstable, security is far and wide atrocious. The first 15 minutes of using XP, my personal computer PC is already infected by malware and virus but as long as you don't connect to the Internet you're okay. That was 2001. I have used Debian, Ubuntu and OpenSuse since 2007, hopping from one distribution to the other as long as I can find a spare PC or laptop. I really have settled on Fedora for personal taste and preferences. I like GNOME and Fedora brings GNOME fresh to my PC. Of course it wasn't love at first sight a few releases back. Fedora's installer needed work and important repos like for the NVIDIA drivers and proprietary music and video codecs are difficult to enable.
